I am in love. Everything I recommend on Tastes, I recommend from the heart. I will never put anything on this site that I don’t absolutely adore. But this is beyond even that. I need this. I never thought I’d need, or even want a tent. But this … this is a fantasy world in the making. Luxurious, beautiful and, amazingly, practical too.

I want to set this up on a deserted beach. Or in a summer daisy-filled meadow, a clearing in a forest,  on a rugged moor … I want to have a dinner party in this tent, or enjoy it a deux. I want to picnic on strawberries and cream in here (champagne included) or have fun with the family. I want it to contain a grand piano or a jazz quartet.  I want to live in it!

But you’ll be happy to know, after that little journey into the lyrical, that I have a practical side too. Imagine an intimate beach wedding … a summer dinner party … an afternoon tea on the lawns of a lovely home.  Use it as a guest cottage, or a retreat by the pool. What a wonderful item for luxury entertaining. Can’t you picture it in candlelight? Or with tiki torches gently flickering? I’m getting carried away again …
