Fun and fabulous jewelry
We were delighted to find this website that features a huge variety of excellent jewelry designs. Some are incredibly sophisticated and unique – others, like the one featured in the large image at the bottom of the page, are just sheer fun. When you are buying a gift for a female friend or loved one, you can’t go wrong when you choose jewelry – we all love it!
I think one of the reasons that we women love jewelry so much is that it is, in the great scheme of things, completely unnecessary. We don’t need it for our survival and it’s not an essential in our everyday lives and yet since the beginning of time both men and women have gone to extraordinary lengths to adorn their bodies.
As mankind became more civilized, not only did we spend a great deal of time on decorating our bodies, enormous amounts of money have been spent on fabulous jewels. Some form of adornment are such that people are prepared to suffer physically to achieve it – for example, tattoos.
All this leads me to believe that jewelry – and bodily adornment – is somehow essential to our souls and our well being. Maybe this is why it is always the perfect gift.
