Newspaper reprints – an excellent gift idea
You’ve probably seen those reproductions of the first page of a newspaper – usually with dramatic headlines. Well, these are different in that your recipient will get the entire newspaper from that day.
These are so interesting because they allow you to see exactly what else was happening in the world at the time of the event. Take the one you see below as an example. Dated 15th April 1912 and reporting the loss of the Titanic, the whole paper shows other events, advertising and so much historical detail.
With these papers, you are almost taking a step back in time as you are reading exactly what people were looking at back in 1912. What a marvellous time capsule and what a wonderful gift idea.
