There’s no doubt at all that Germans are experts at baking and especially cakes. They are regional, and there’s nothing more delightful than traveling from region to region and sampling the cakes as you go!

If you have a son who is over the age of 8 and loves Star Wars, then this Star Wars Lego set is brilliant. It’s the Republic Gunship. It is a massive box jammed full of Lego mini figures and it has a separate speeder, which my son tells me is a kind of space motorbike. This is an added bonus because it is two toys in one.

Like all major Lego sets, it is big and intricate, your child will probably need help building it, but once built it holds together well, and can be played with.

Getting Great Gear Guide: A Gore-Tex Jacket

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that Gore-Tex jackets are the best you can wear in bad weather.

I have worn mine on many trips around the UK and have had the same jacket for coming on to 10 years, and it still works very well.

I have taken care to follow the washing instructions to the letter, and I have used special products, like sprays and sealant finishes, to keep the Gore-Tex waterproof, and so it has been brilliant at keeping me dry both inside and out.

Gore-Tex is a special breathable material that works like magic.

These jackets would make an ideal gift for anyone who is into the great outdoors!

Fantastic Hand Puppets and Great Kids Party Ideas

I would recommend any puppet that has been designed and made by the company Enchanted Puppets.

I bought one for my son almost 10 years ago, and it is still as good as new.

Not because we haven’t used it, because we have used it so much that it is almost a member of our family, but because it is so very well made.

Our one is of a red dragon, but of course there are many designs and different characters to choose from.

The Puppet Company is a UK based company, and all their puppets meet or exceed the UK safety standards.

I can vouch for the fact that, even though my son has had standing battles with his dragon over the years, she is still a very beautiful girl!

WowWee Roboquad For Kids Who Love Robot Toys

Finding a toy that will keep a teenager happy is not an easy job. And it seems to get harder each year.

There are plenty of things out there that promise the earth, but sadly, they all don’t deliver!

However, I bought a WowWee Roboquad for my son and it certainly did, and on many levels. It is fun and quite easy to learn to set the program, it’s a quality product that is built to last, and it actually does what it’s supposed to do. But more than this it will grow with your child. It seems that the older mine gets, the more he appreciates his one.

So if you have a teenager who is into robotics – then I highly recommend a Wowwee product.
